I am photographer based in Co. Offaly. My work documents the strange and hidden details within the everyday, using both film and digital photography. The quality of light in my photographs, both available and artificial, is an important feature of how I approach image-making. Ultimately, the photobook is my preferred medium for presenting my work.

Lost Kingdom
Lost Kingdom examines different affective registers of loss and reconnection after the war and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project considers the involvement of three male subjects, before, during and after these events, all of whom experienced the tragedy at firsthand and were forced to leave their homes. Photographs from the family album and postcards are used as archival sources for these personal stories. Contemporary portraits of the subjects, in addition to solemn records of objects and regalia associated with Bosnia, provides space for further associations and remembering almost thirty years since the war.
